😁 Love me some extra crispy fried chicken. Had my share growing up. Mom knew how to do it up right. Don’t make it myself due to health concerns, but every now at then at a local meeting of Rotary minds, we order it for lunch…., finger licken’ good!!
As a subscriber to Missouri Life, your column has provided years of enjoyment. Your writing is/was the reason the subscription was renewed year after year. It was the news that you had written your final column for the magazine that caused me to land here. A published book or two compiled from past articles would be, IMHO, an instant best seller. I'm in total agreement with your assessment of fried chicken. The only thing better than fried chicken is more.
Thanks Jeanne. There is an out of print book of my early columns. It was published in 2000, and I still see some used copies floating around on Amazon and Ebay from time to time. It’s called “Coyote Songs.”
I kick around doing a more recent anthology from time to time, but haven’t gotten around to it. Too busy playing with the dogs and such, I reckon.

The dogs take precedence. 😉
